About Rasama
GET TO KNOW ME….
GROWING UP IN CHILE… “I KNEW THIS WAS NOT FOR YOU, BUT I WANTED YOU KNOW IT FOR YOURSELF.”
These words of wisdom from my Father allowed me to cultivate a free spirit and a desire for learning and experiencing new things. My family was very open and allowed me and my sisters, to do, go and experience the world for ourselves — I’m very grateful for that.
I WAS TO YOUNG TO KNOW WHAT I WANTED... “I HAVE A LIFE AND I DON’ KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT,”
became my slogan. So, I did what I thought I should do, and I attained my college degree. Still feeling unsatisfied I went back and got another (Fashion Designer). In my continuous frustration of seeking to give my life a sense of meaning; I moved from one career to the another. I saw the good and bad in both careers. As a result; I started my own consulting company which allowed me to taste the sense of freedom and satisfaction, I had been looking for. Even then, I found myself thinking that there was still another way of living, one which was completely different from what I was experiencing.
MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY BEGINS… “WHEN THE STUDENT IS READY, THE MASTER WILL APPEAR.”
My first master was a beautiful, strong French woman. She showed me that there is another way of living and has a name – consciousness. She allowed me to me to experience that the unseen can be seen, that the unheard can be heard, and the unknown can be known.
I LATER MOVED TO THE U.S. … “WELCOME TO AMERICA.”
Once in Texas I closed my heart and dry spiritual years followed. When I decided open it again, new masters came to my path. Dr. Levry, was one of them. His teachings opened the doors to a divine healing system called, Harmonyum and Shakti Naam Yoga. Those trainings have come to enrich my current studies in Nutrition.
ONE DAY I DECIDED TO STOP BEING A PUPPET… “NERVE CELLS THAT FIRE TOGETHER, WIRE TOGETHER.”
I was inspired to become a conscious creator. Have I told you that I’m a good cook? I AM! I took all of my interests and put them together into a pot. I love to write. I love to read. I love to learn. I love to teach. I can see the potential in all people and things – and I saw my own potential. Today my practice is a delicious blend of my talents, experiences, knowledge and wisdom.
AS TIME GOES BY… “HE WHO STRAYS DISCOVERS NEW PATHS”.
I thought finding a purpose in my life was the end, but as I’m realizing it’s only the beginning. I have learned that every new door opens even more undiscovered paths. Being an avid researcher keeps me always learning and uncovering new interests. Now, my life is in constant change continuously evolving and moving through the unknown, and I’m totally find with it.
By the way, I’m not currently using my old slogan. It belongs to the past.
